prefer AMP, but AC is better than the rest :)
AMP and AC are the leaders in the pocket diaper race, in our opinion! The ruffled leg elastics keep messes in, the fleece keeps baby dry. I prefer the onesize option of AMP, as well as the softer fleece and leg elastics. Size one AC left terrible marks on my chunky-thighed newborn (even with proper fitting help), she outgrew it at 5 weeks. Size 2 is VERY bulky but great as a ultra-stuffable night diaper. The fleece is rougher than many pocket diapers.

Not my favorite so far
Nice prints (I bought the birds print), however, I found the ruffles along the legs seem to draw out the moisture. Prefer the tighter elastics around the legs on other brands better as we have had no leaks with those ones. Perhaps not a great choice for the long and lean newborn (mine was 8 lbs) - may be better once baby is bigger.

Love how the insert self-agitates out! Even tho my babe is on the smaller side, I find the size 2 fits much better than the size 1 (although she is in the weight category for the size 1). Adorable prints and they hold up very well.

I love that these diapers are Canadian made and that you can stuff them with any inserts you have! My only downfall if the snap system, because they are one of top of each other they make for a wider belt. I personally feel like it limits their mobility compared to diapers that are snapped all on the same row.

Tricky fit
We didn't like these at first because we found it difficult to get a good and secure fit around the legs, but they're growing on us. Remember to pull up the wings!

Try this Diaper
After cloth diapering for 3 years I finally gave Applecheeks a try and I'm a little upset with myself that I didn't try one sooner. Paired with the 3ply bamboo insert and the stay dry bamboo booster it is the perfect nighttime cloth diaper. I find the fit a little different compared to my other cloth diapers, but I'm very happy about everything else.

The best covers
These are my favourite covers. After trying out a number of brands in a cloth diaper trial, I found that applecheeks and AMP are the only brands that fit my long, skinny daughter well. The sized options make applecheeks more expensive, but the trade off is that they fit so well and are so trim. I'm looking forward to trying their one-size option as well.

Great fit! But...
I.started my stash with AC and they fit my newborn adorably. My only issue is the idea of having to eventually size up. A friend recommended AMP one size duo and I now use both interchangeably since they are almost the same. He is now 12 weeks (14lbs) and still fitting them, so haven't had to ditch the size ones yet. I like that they are a bit more snug while he's little but am just as happy with AMPs one size option most days. Really it comes down to which diaper is easier for getting that cloth bum into cute pants!

Love Applecheeks
These are by far our favorite pocket diapers. I love the two sized system as it keeps the diapers nice and trim. the elastics keep away blowouts and I find them very cute. My only complaint is that on the most new releases the snaps seemed to have changed and they are harder to do up.

so many leaks :(
I don't know if it's user error or a design flaw but we have always gotten leaks from the ruffled legs of our applecheeks, both sized and one size. Disappointing, because I like that the elastics are gentle! The other terrible part is having to fish out a poopy insert from the pocket - the opening of which is smack dab in the middle of poop zone. Major ick. I know lots of people love AC but they are some of our least reached-for diapers.
