Just hook on one side of the diaper, pull, grip and you're done. Boingo fasteners grip on the sides of the diaper which prevents uncomfortable compression on baby's tummy and delicate areas like other cloth diaper fasteners on the market today.
Boingo stays put and does not fall off during play.
How To:
1. Hold the Boingo with two hands, gripping in the center away from the claws.
2. Pinch the fabric of the diaper and hook one end of the boingo into the diaper, it is helpful to insert the teeth as you would a diaper pin.
3. Gently stretch and pull your boingo to the opposite side and fasten again. Boingos do NOT need to be fastened tightly to grip the diaper properly. You want to have some give and stretch in the Boingo, so that it will be comfortable for baby. A good rule of thumb is that you want to be able to comfortably slip one finger under the Boingo when fastened, you should be able to pull on the Boingo and have it stay tightly gripped. You may pull on the center of the Boingo to make sure it is attached firmly.
4. Cover with your favorite diaper cover!
WARNINGS
: Boingos should only be fastened by a responsible adult. Carefully check your Boingo prior to use for wear, or damage. Discontinue use and recycle your Boingo if it becomes worn, torn, or damaged. Continued use of a damaged fastener could lead to product failure, thus posing a potential choking hazard if the plastic piece is dislodged, or becomes separated. Do not over stretch your Boingos. Over stretching, or forcefully stretching will damage your Boingo. Do not pull your Boingo by any part of the star, or any other design, it will cause damage. Do not cut or alter your Boingo in any way, doing so could result in failure of your Boingo and will void your warranty. Do not use Boingo on any child who could remove it, or their diaper/diaper cover. Do not allow your child to play with Boingos, they are not toys. Boingos should be kept out of childs reach when not in use. Misuse can cause damage.

Good grip
I like these better than the snappies as I feel they have a better grip. Just wish they had a three point connector too.

Prefer Boingo (over Snappi)
I like the angle of the teeth, it's less pokey than the snappi (lies more flat). The best part is that it seems to put less compression on my son's tummy and sensitive bits. I'm still figuring out how to fasten the boingo to get a really snug fit around my son's legs, but until I do, it's not a big deal, since I put a cover over top of the prefold, (and it's still a pretty good fit, I just know I can get it a little tighter).

Good, but requires practice
I use these with Birds-eye Flats + woolies on a 2-Month old and a 2 yr old. They work well for both, but it took me a few times to get used to them. The teeth are about 3 mm long and sharp enough to get a very good grip on the cloth. But I don't think it could puncture skin very easily.

Good fastener
We have used both Snappis and Boingos now with our prefolds, and I like both. The Snappi is nice because it's all one piece...but that's also sometimes a challenge with a wiggly baby! I think the Boingos allow for more customization from side to side as you can get one side attached and then tinker with the other (if you need to) without messing up the other side. I have found that these have held up well so far (a couple months use) and have good grippers (sharper/longer than the Snappi). Plus these look way cooler!

So funky
Used these on our snapless fitted diapers when my little one was a baby. Functional and looked really funky. Neat alternative to a snappy.

Boingo's Rock
I like the flexibility a boingo has for fit over the Snappi. Not to mention they are too cute!!

My favorite fasteners
I bought a pair of boingos along with snappis to try both out and much prefer these boingos. The only downside is that they are more expensive than the snappis, but I just find that they grip better to both cotton and bamboo flats and I can clip them on in different ways that are easier for me.
