Best for Padfolding
These are super soft, but they are quite small once washed up. I can't use them folded and snappi'd around my 15lb baby- to small. They wash up in irregular rectangles so they're really hard to fold. The edges also curl really badly once washed up- also making it hard to fold them. They do however hold a TON. I generally use one stuffed inside a pocket fitted for my heavy wetting son overnight. I will be buying more- but to use as boosters for overnight, not as a full diaper.

Bought on a whim and has become my favourite cloth diaper. Super trim, and on my little I get a great fit with the origami fold. It's so absorbent that it never feels anything close to saturated. I find it easiest to use if I prefolds while putting away diaper laundry, that way there's less fussing at change time. Only possible downside (and not a big deal) is that a snappi has a hard time grabbing the fabric.

So soft, and great for pad folding.
As a mom of 13 cloth diapering for over a decade and having to change my system because of wetness issues I was having from my beloved fitteds and wool, I went to pockets and inserts. Wow, I love geffen products. Please look at my reviews of their pre-folds for more detail. These are wonderful for pad-folding in pockets or covers. They stay extremely soft after washes. They edges to curl up some, but since it is so soft and pliable it does not cause uncomfortable spots, like many of the high end cotton flats I tried that would feel so hard and bulky were all the seems meet up. This does not happen with Geffen Jersey Flats. Plus if you have wash troubles flats are a way to go. Easy to clean and dry. Pair this with a Geffen absorber wrapped inside for your little one and it is trim and still absorbs a lot. Even two of these flats do not make a diapers bulky if you have a heavy wetter. Yes, Geffen costs more, but the absorbency, trimness and softness is worth it. Does not get rough like straight cotton can. Padfolding these are great and can save you time and money in drying time, if that is what your need.

My Favourite Insert!
These dry up a bit uneven and slightly rectangularly but the pros outweigh the cons. I've tried sooooo many inserts/flats/prefolds and I think I've found my favourite insert! They are a bit small so I fold them in half 3 times to make an insert that is 8 layers and stuff it into an Applecheeks size 2 cover. When folded this way they make the perfect 5 x 12 insert. They are even trimmer than the Applecheeks 2-ply bamboo inserts yet significantly more absorbent! They wash and dry super well too! I am in LOVE with these! They are SUPER trim! The trimmest insert/prefold/flat etc I've ever used. I've used them since the new-born stage since they are so trim and still use them during the day with my heavy wetter 6month old. They aren't absorbent enough as a daytime insert for my heavy wetter toddler but neither are the Applecheeks 2-ply/3-ply inserts. For my toddler I use the Geffen Baby fladdles in an Applecheeks cover. I've sold all my inserts/prefolds/flats and have replaced them with these flats and the Geffen Baby Fladdles.

Good flat
This flat is good and absorbant. Washes really well and resists stains well also. However it's not as soft as id like

Great but small
These are great - soft, nice and stretchy - but small so best for pad folding.

I like these a lot
These have been getting me into folding. Even after they are washed (and yes they wash up into rectangles) I like the way they fit. They hold a lot for how trim they are. Keeps baby drier than everything else I own too. Snappis don't stick too well the first try though so get a good grip or go with safety pins if your baby is as wiggly as mine.. though to be honest I struggle with the snappi because safety pins scare me.

Prefolds in pocket diapers
I absolutely love how much these hold! They are a great overnight solution for my baby when folded in three and put in a pocket diaper. (They are pretty trim too!) Neither the small or the medium fit my 14 ibs baby when folded into a diaper and secured with the snappi. I really wanted to try this as an option and out my PUL pocket diaper unstuffed overtop. They prefolds are too small once washed. However- folded up in thirds and stuffed in the pocket-they work like a charm!! So I’m still super happy to find a trim night time solution.
