Holztiger’s
Waldorf-inspired figures are handcrafted in Europe from sustainably-harvested (PEFC-certified) maple and beech wood. The forms and decoration are deliberately simplified to better stimulate children's imaginations. After each figure is carefully cut and sanded, it is coloured with water-based, non-toxic stains and finishes that allow the beauty of the wood grain to show through. These toys are designed to last generation after generation.

I'm worried about small parts possibly breaking
This crab is very nicely crafted and painted. However the claws are somewhat dainty I feel. I imagine they could break easily if dropped from the right angle or stepped on(God forbid). It hasn't happened yet, nor has my theory been tested.
