Holztiger’s
Waldorf-inspired figures are handcrafted in Europe from sustainably-harvested (PEFC-certified) maple and beech wood. The forms and decoration are deliberately simplified to better stimulate children's imaginations. After each figure is carefully cut and sanded, it is coloured with water-based, non-toxic stains and finishes that allow the beauty of the wood grain to show through. These toys are designed to last generation after generation.

Love the uniqueness
The thing about hand crafted wooden toys that you don't get with moulded plastic toys is that each one made is slightly different. Mine is carved and painted just a little bit different in the pattern of hair and the shape of the foot. I can't get enough of these wooden figures. Simply beautiful.
