Product Details

"Better Fit" prefolds are sized to fit in the diaper cover without folding length wise in the diaper cover as required for standard prefolds. This less bulky and easier to use prefold style is growing in popularity.  It is specifically made and sized to be used inside a diaper cover using a trifold type fold as per the pictures below. The trifold type fold does not require Boingo, Snappi fasteners or diaper pins.  All OsoCozy® prefolds including these new "Better Fit" prefolds are Diaper Service Quality (DSQ). They are sewn of 100% Indian cotton gauze weaved material. This material quilts up nice and thick with the first wash and these diapers are soft, very absorbent and lint free.

Better Fit prefold diapers are sized to fit diaper covers when a simple trifold is used.  See first picture below.  This results in a less bulky and more comfortable fit.  They are 2.5 inches shorter in the infant size and 5-6 inches shorter than the regular or premium sized traditional prefolds.  The premium sized Better Fit has also been used as a medium size between the traditional infant and regular/premium sizes.  If used as a medium traditional prefold the better fit premium will not fit 15-30 lbs but rather will work for many babies from about 13-20 lbs.

Awesome fit/absorbancy
I originally wanted to buy the GMD Clotheez prefolds, but unfortunately they don't ship to Canada. I was recommended the Osocozy prefolds by a friend who said they were just as great, and while I can't compare the two, I definitely love these! My daughter has worn the purple edged ones from birth to now, at about 3.5 months is just outgrowing them at 14 pds 9 oz. To prep them I boiled them for 30 min in a stock pot with a drop of blue Dawn, and then washed them twice on hot and the fluffed up great to max absorbency. They're soft, they did pill a little bit but not much. I will definitely be buying the next size up and use the purple edged ones as trifolded inserts for my pocket diapers :)

I am pleased with the absorbency of these prefolds, but not sure about how long they will fit. My baby is just 6 weeks old and is likely around 13-14 pounds, so I purchased the Premium size. I am currently doing a jelly roll fold and using a Snappi to close, and there doesn't seem to be too much room to grow! They will work well pad folded and laid into covers later when we aren't dealing with EBF poops. I would suggest getting a larger size than you think you need.

Great size
I don't do anything fancy with prefolds and I really like the simplicity of the pad fold. I've had issues in the past with prefolds that had an awkward length, and I never know that to do with that extra length to make it fit in the diaper comfortably. That problem is non existent with these. Great unexpensive insert for my pockets and covers!

Love the better fit, very versatile
I am loving the better fit! It is so versatile, I use it in a flip cover when we are home and save the flip stay dry for outings. I have used it in an angel wing fold with a snappi under a Thirsties cover, and I have used it pad folded under a Best Bottoms (I think) cover. This fit makes so much more sense than a traditional prefold, it is so much nicer to not have a big bulge where you have had to fold over the prefold, so these fit quite well. My son is not a heavy wetter and is using the premium size currently and there is absorbency to spare. Good fit, soft, good absorbency, and super versatile, these are a great buy!

infant size as insert
I love using the infant size as a soaker for ai2. I wish I got more of these instead of grovia size 1 as the osocosy has more layers so it is more absorbent.

The best
These are one of my favorite prefolds (in addition to Bummis). After stripping my entire stash the osocozy and bummis were the only ones to retain their shape. All other brands shrunk a lot in length. If I could redo my entire stash I would get only these!

Soaks up everything
These are awesome!! And they literally absorb everything. I’m using the baby size on my 2 month old and can easily do a jelly rolls with a snappy. There’s is lots of room to grow for sure with this size. They are a bit think so I look forward to solids so I can just do some simple tri folds over trying to catch the ebf poops. But overall I love them and will be buying more

The BEST Prefold Size!
If I could give these 10 stars, I would!!! We do a simple Tri-Fold in our Thirsties Duo Hook and Loop Covers, and these are perfect! It was very annoying using other brand prefolds that are extra, extra, long and never fit into the covers properly. When you have a squirmy kiddo that you are wrestling to change a diaper on, you need quick, simple and effective! NO Snappies, No tucking in ends, just fold, fold, liner, in the cover, done! Highly recommend!

I ordered these in preparation for my daughter's arrival and haven't been disappointed. They wash up well and absorbency is great. We have just started building our stash of the premium size and plan to continue using these as she grows.
