First Night in Cloth - Leak-Free Solutions

Alright, so you have the day time figured out. You have found the cloth love and you are ready to brave your first night in cloth.
I remember when we first started cloth diapering and how accomplished I felt to be cloth diapering 24/7, 7 days a week. It took us a couple of weeks until I was comfortable during the day and going out in cloth that we tried an overnight. To my pleasure, we haven't looked back!
Yes, we have had to change the sheets a few times to find what exactly worked for us. Yes, we have had some extremely fluffy rumps (and still do). So to spare you some sheet changes, here are some ideas.
Fitted cloth diaper with a wool cover, and for added protection a wool doubler.
We lanolize the doubler as well, so it acts as a second layer of protection, by pushing the moisture back into the fitted diaper. The doubler is placed between the fitted diaper and the wool cover. We use a LoveyBums Wool Wrap and Doubler or a Rainbow Waters Wool Soaker.
Kawaii Goodnight Heavy Wetter with a Bamboo Insert and a Microfiber Insert. The difference with the Kawaii Goodnight Heavy Wetter is it has 3 layers of outer protection. (Thermoplastic Polyurethane TPU).
A pocket stuffed with Sweet Pea Prefold, AMP Hemp Insert, or an AppleCheeks 3 Ply Insert.
Hint - One thing to be careful of when stuffing a pocket for bedtime is to avoid gaping legs. A common cause of leaks can be from over-stuffing. Some babies are heavier wetters than others, so you may even be able to use the same absorbency for both day and night.
There are many solutions, these are just a few that have worked for us!
