Imagine "Smart Fit" Bamboo Prefolds - 6 Pack

We love how well these diapers absorb. We were using cotton prefolds prior to these and found that the whole thing would be soaking after an hour. These absorb far more and seem to dry up a bit on their own as well during use. They are also really soft! My only complaint is that they do shrink excessively if you use the hot function in the wash. I didn�t realize this prior to so they have ended up being inconsistent sizes.

We have these in both the cotton and the bamboo blend materials, and they've worked well for us when stuffed in a pocket diaper. We only used them briefly inside covers, as the wetness against baby's skin caused a rash. This had been remedied by using a fleece liner between baby's skin and the prefold diaper, but they're so easy to use when folded old-style and stuffed in a pocket. Great for overnights in the earlier months!

I really like these prefolds because they are so absorbent but I hate how much they shrink. I bought mediums (12-25 pounds) before my baby was born to be my "next size up" prefold to have on hand. These have shrunk so much even on low heat - they are now 9.5x11.5 inches (smaller than the size small washed sizing listed here!) and it's getting harder to use the snappi on my 9 1/2 pound baby now. I will be able to use these as trifolds once she starts solids so that helps.

I definitely would recommend these prefolds. I have been using mine for approximately three months, and my only issue is that the unbleached version of the large is smaller than the medium bleached set that I have. Unfortunately, this also means that my unbleached prefolds have gotten thicker. If buying this product, confirm it is the bleached version.

The absorbency on these diapers is amazing and they are soft even after washes. But they shrank a ton, and mostly just length wise not width. So they are super short and don't reach to the back of the diaper. If they had stayed longer I would love them so so much.
