*Medela Contact Nipple Shield 2-Pack with Carrying Case

This saved our breastfeeding journey. My son was able to latch right away. Very durable and easy enough to just tuck into your bra so you don�t lose it before next feed!

As a first time mom new to breastfeeding with a baby who had a poor latch due to lip and tongue ties this shield was a lifesaver and allowed me to continue breastfeeding until she had her ties revised.

Had to use a shield because of flat nipples when I started and it worked great. Just make sure you get the right size!!

I have flat nipples, I knew this from when I had my first and was unable to breastfeed because of a couple of the nipple issue and a severe lip tie. But I was still determined to breastfeed my second. When I saw the lactation consultant the day after my son was born, she recommended using this nipple shield. The hospital gave me one for free to use and try. My son hated it! Even more than trying to nurse with a lazy latch, flat nipples and no milk coming out. It just added this comically large silicone overlay to my nipple, it sticks out almost an inch. I don't really blame him for not liking it, it did seems extremely odd. I did give it 2 stars instead of one because according to that lactation consultant this is the best one on the market and it has helped thousands of moms be able to nurse who otherwise couldn't. Sadly I wasn't one of them.
