Thirsties Trainers are your toddler’s new sidekick for potty training! Made from soft organic cotton, they’re built to handle little accidents with multiple layers in the soaker zone and a secret waterproof layer. The easy pull-up design makes them simple for toddlers to use, while the side snap openings make cleaning up any messy moments a breeze!
We recommend having 6-8 Trainers in rotation if your child is just being introduced to potty learning. If your child has been practicing for a while and accidents are rare, you can probably get away with just 3 Trainers in rotation.

Why You'll Love Reusable Trainers
- Disposable pull-ups are expensive! And they get used and tossed regardless of whether your child has had an accident. You spend more on your Thirsties Trainers upfront, but a single investment of reusables will last all the way through potty training.
- They look and feel more like underwear which is more comfortable and appealing to children seeking to feel more grown-up and independent.
- Many families have discovered that their child potty-learns much faster when they can feel the wetness of the cotton after an accident. Disposable pull-ups feel just like disposable diapers and often prolong the potty-training process.
- Reusable trainers significantly reduce the amount of waste generated in comparison to disposable pull-ups.

Care Instructions
Wash: If you have cloth diaper laundry, the easiest thing is to toss your Trainers in the wash with your cloth diapers. If the Potty Training Pant isn’t soiled, you can wash it alongside your regular laundry.
Cloth diaper washing instructions:
- Wash on a Quick Wash cycle on warm with detergent to ‘pre-wash’ your Thirsties.
- Add more detergent and wash with hot water on a Heavy Duty Cycle with an extra rinse. Add washing soda or Calgon if you have very hard water.
- Hang dry in the sun whenever and wherever possible. Alternatively, dry in dryer on medium-high heat for about 60-75 minutes until fully dry. Add dryer balls for quicker drying.
